Mario Bautista Stuns Vinicius Oliveira with Second-Round Submission – UFC Vegas 113 Highlights
Mario Bautista added another big win to his resume at UFC Vegas 113, submitting Vinicius Oliveira in the evening’s main event.
After surrendering much of the opening round to Bautista’s grappling, Oliveira appeared to be gassed out in the second stanza. Sensing this, Bautista continued to put pressure on his opponent, scoring another takedown and transitioning to the crucifix position.
Lighting up Oliveira with strikes, the Brazilian scrambled to free himself, but ultimately gave up his back, allowing Bautista to cinch in a lightning-fast rear-naked choke and forcing Oliveira to tap out almost immediately.
