Jake Paul Is Confident in his Speed Advantage Over Anthony Joshua After Beating Him In Laser Tag

Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua

Jake Paul is confident in his chances in his looming clash with Anthony Joshua after besting him in a quasi-athletic competition before. ‘The Problem Child’ discussed this during a recent pre-fight interview with The Schmo before Paul boxes AJ in Miami on December 19th. Referencing an athletic accomplishment over Joshua that would assuredly make Barney Stinson of HIMYM fame proud, as Paul said,

“Man, speed. You know, I beat him in laser tag when we first met in Dubai. He didn’t see me coming. I was popping around the corners, shooting him nonstop, eliminated him multiple times. That’s because I’m tricky. I’m sneaky and I’m fast. It’s going to be a long night for him. Long night. Long night.”

Jake Paul pulled back from doing silly gesture amid anthony joshua faceoff

Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua are building up to their heavyweight contest in the coming weeks, with the former supposedly avoiding doing a strange maneuver during his recent faceoff with Anthony Joshua. Paul’s business associate in Most Valuable Promotions Nakisa Bidarian gave some insights into that recently during an interview hepartook in on The Ariel Helwani Show.

A lot of discourse related to size differences has come up in this Paul media cycle, with the narrative first being focused on lightweight Gervonta Davis being too small for the influencer. With ‘Tank’ no longer being involved in the bout due to reported legal issues, now the conversation is centred on if Paul is biting off more than he can chew with the former multi-time heavyweight champion Joshua.

The size difference was noticeable with Paul being chest level with Joshua, and Bidarian mentioned to Helwani that Paul thought about motorboating Joshua during that moment. Bidarian mentioned to Paul that pressing his mouth to Joshua’s chest to generate silly sounds might belie a serious, intense moment, but he also told the combat sports disruptor to make his own call in the moment.

Paul seemed to tease the gesture, then looked up into Joshua’s eyes to engage in a more conventional pre-fight faceoff.
