Hattan Alsaif Pro Debut Headlines PFL MENA’s Jeddah Return June 19
PFL MENA heads back to Jeddah on June 19 at King Abdullah Sports City Indoor Arena. Hattan Alsaif makes her pro debut there, while Malik Basahel aims to stay undefeated.
The Professional Fighters League announced the event this morning from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It forms part of the 2026 PFL MENA season, which kicked off earlier this year after a postponement from Al Khobar. Jeddah hosted past PFL MENA cards, including playoffs in 2024 that drew strong crowds and highlighted local talent. The league points to the city as a core market for MMA growth in the Kingdom, with events at the indoor arena building fan support since 2024.
Saudi Stars Hattan Alsaif and Basahel Light Up PFL MENA Jeddah on June 19
Hattan Alsaif enters as the first Saudi woman signed to a major global MMA promotion back in January 2024. She holds a 4-0 amateur record under PFL, with finishes like a 41-second head kick knockout of Nada Faheem, a Guinness World Record for fastest PFL MENA stoppage, and a second-round TKO over Eman Baraka. At 23 years old, 5’1″ with a 60-inch arm reach, Alsaif trains mainly with Abdullah Al-Qahtani and brings Muay Thai gold from the 2023 IFMA Worlds. Fans saw her dominate with knees to the body in a later win over Lilia Osmani. This pro debut shifts her to atomweight full-time on the Jeddah card.
Malik Basahel, 24-year-old flyweight nicknamed “Storm,” carries a 3-0 PFL pro record, all stoppages before round three. His wins include a second-round TKO via elbows on Mountassir Boutouta, plus decisions turned finishes in earlier bouts like against Saher Qasmieh. Before turning pro, Basahel went 21-3-1 as an amateur, claiming 2023 IMMAF Asian gold and multiple Saudi titles with 13 stoppages. He looks for a fourth straight pro victory in front of home fans.

Jeddah’s role stands out in PFL’s regional push. The league ran its first MENA season in 2024 from Riyadh and Jeddah, then expanded in 2025 and 2026 despite scheduling shifts. King Abdullah Sports City hosts major sports, from soccer to concerts, and now MMA again. Pre-register on Platinumlist locks in the discount; more card details follow soon.
