Francis Ngannou’s Coach: We’ve Got Heat with Jake Paul and Netflix

Francis Ngannou’s coach Eric Nicksick has spoken about the heat that exists between his fighter and Jake Paul.

As we know, Francis Ngannou is easily one of the scariest fighters on the planet. He has done some incredible things throughout the course of his career, and while the majority of that has been in the world of mixed martial arts, he also ventured into professional boxing where he took on two of the best heavyweights of this generation, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Recently, prior to Jake Paul going up against Joshua in a bizarre superfight, it was reported that Francis Ngannou had the chance to step up and take that fight. When it didn’t come to fruition, there was a bit of beef that started between the two camps, leading some to believe that they may be able to rearrange that fight at some point down the line.

In a recent interview, the aforementioned Eric Nicksick gave his thoughts on the Francis Ngannou vs Jake Paul feud.

Francis Ngannou’s coach talks about heat with Jake Paul

“When he calls, it’s boots on the ground, we go. So I haven’t really talked to him about business. I’m curious to see what’s next. There’s a little thing there with Jake Paul; his jaw is still being realigned and recovering, but there’s a little heat. Netflix is always looking for big fights. For Francis, there are a lot of great options.”

While Ngannou competing in boxing again certainly makes sense from a financial point of view, a lot of fans out there would much prefer to see him in the cage. The UFC, or at least Dana White, has made it known that he isn’t on the best terms with ‘The Predator’, but perhaps he should take a leaf out of WWE’s books and make an effort to mend fences.

Whatever the case may be, Ngannou is still a major attraction at this point in his career, and it will indeed be interesting to see what he opts to do with the time he has left as an active competitor in combat sports.
