Conor McGregor Fires a Light Jab at Jake Paul

Conor McGregor, Jake Paul

Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor, who at times loves to play the heel, has taken a lighthearted jab at Jake Paul.

This past weekend, Paul faced Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight boxing match and lost in round six by TKO. The YouTuber-turned-boxer ate heavy shots and was knocked down a total of four times in six rounds until he failed to beat the count.

Paul also suffered a double broken jaw and had to undergo surgery after the bout to have two titanium plates fitted and some teeth removed. The 28-year-old has to be on a liquid diet for seven days now, as he informed fans.

Conor McGregor tells Jake Paul to enjoy smoothies this Christmas

In a recent inspirational post on X, ‘The Problem Child’ thanked God and wished his followers a Merry Christmas.

“God is great. Broken jaw, but brain and spine all clear. Never been more motivated. Merry Christmas to all around the world. Never stop trying to be great. You are guaranteed 100% failure if you don’t try.”

Conor McGregor was quick to chime in on Paul’s Christmas post, and the Irishman took a lighthearted dig at the 28-year-old by commenting:

“Indeed! God is great! Enjoy your Christmas smoothies, bro.”

Earlier, ‘The Notorious’ had predicted that Paul would be knocked out cold by Anthony Joshua in the first sixty seconds of the boxing match, and the YouTuber-turned-boxer would be “altered permanently.” While the second half of McGregor’s prediction did materialize, the other half did not. The Dubliner also placed a bet on ‘AJ’ to KO Paul in the first sixty seconds.
