Conor McGregor claims BKFC is only just getting started after another strong event
UFC star Conor McGregor has praised the recent success of KnuckleMania VI as BKFC continues to produce strong events.
As we know, Conor McGregor has his finger in many pies. In addition to his career as a mixed martial artist, which is currently inactive, he also has several businesses that he’s a part of. Of course, his recent legal issues have certainly harmed his image, but he still plays a featured role for the likes of BKFC, a promotion he has been a part of for a while now.
Conor McGregor is certainly a divisive figure and you won’t find too many people who would disagree with that statement, but in equal measure, he also knows how to make money and seems to have a solid team around him in that department. BKFC has always been an interesting concept, but in the last year or two, they really seem to have taken things to a next level, from production to the actual product to their overall popularity.
In a recent tweet, Conor McGregor praised the recent KnuckleMania event.
Conor McGregor discusses KnuckleMania VI
“Knucklemania VI in Philly this weekend was nothing short of historic, with over 18,000 fans in the building and more than 2 million tuning in worldwide. An all-around local record for combat sports and just the latest benchmark for what we’re building. We’re only getting started, and there’s a lot more to come!! @bareknucklefc”
Conor has often teased the idea of fighting for BKFC, but right now, it seems as if his priority is very much on a return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The expectation is that he will compete on the UFC White House card this summer, but who knows, maybe in the future he will feature as an active competitor in the bare-knuckle boxing world.
