It’s once again fight day here at LowKickMMA, and the talent on display today (Saturday, July 16th, 2016) came in the form of Bellator 158. Paul Daley and Douglas Lima threw down in the main event, and a whole bunch of great fights went down on the rest of the main card.

Douglas Lima (26-6) and Paul Daley (38-13-2) met in a welterweight bout in the main event. Former Bellator 170-pound champ Lima took home a clean sweep on the judges’ cards, scoring 30-27 on all three.

Weeks after Matt Mitrione (10-5) was nearly knocked out by Carl Seumanutafa in his Bellator debut, he fought Oli Thompson (17-8) heavyweight co-main event and knocked him out in the second round.

Touted prospect Michael Page (10-0) vs. Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos (21-17) faced off in a welterweight bout, with “Venum” knocking “Cyborg” with a highlight-reel knee.

UFC veteran Francis Carmont (24-11) vs. Lukasz Klinger (7-2) at light heavy, submitting him with a D’Arce choke in the first round, and James Gallagher (3-0) edged Mike Cutting (6-5) via decision in a featherweight bout to kick off the main card.
