Asa Ten Pow returns to face Seksan at ONE Fight Night 30

Asa Ten Pow and Seksan

One of the United States’ finest Muay Thai fighters, Asa Ten Pow, is returning to the ONE Championship arena to face off against “The Man Who Yields to No One,” Seksan, at ONE Fight Night 30. This will be a barn burner of a Muay Thai fight between the two experienced fighters and coaches.

Asa Ten Pow was looking to get himself back in the win column after his shocking loss to the ultra-heavy-handed Brazilian powerhouse John Lineker, who would badly beat and knock out Ten Pow in his debut Muay Thai fight. This was a rather bad look for Ten Pow, who was tasked with facing the former MMA champion Lineker, who was even able to give the likes of Hiroki Akimoto some problems in their kickboxing match. So, the “American Ninja” is looking to win against a legend in Seksan who gave Rodtang and Liam Harrison excellent fights.

Seksan has been looking excellent in his last two bouts as he ran through the British Muay Thai and one of the best low kickers of all time in Liam Harrison and defeating the Burmese bruiser Soe Lin Oo in their last bout in which Seksan resorted to his technical Muay Thai to outstrike the Lethwei fighter and clinch the win against Soe Lin Oo. So, with the older Seksan coming off excellent wins, it’s very much possible for him to be on a three-fight win streak should he get past the American Muay Thai striker.

Asa Ten Pow and Seksan are two masters ready to meet for a chance at the top.

Both Asa Ten Pow and Seksan are in the bad half of the fighting age, with Ten Pow being 35 and Seksan being 36. So, if the two fighters and coaches are looking to make one last run for the ONE Muay Thai world title, now is the time, as not everyone has the longevity of Sam-A. That, along with the all-action styles of both fighters, means it’s only a matter of time before Father Time takes too much of a toll on the Muay Thai icons, so this fight is make or break for both in their title aspirations.
