Video: UFC 153 First Official Preview
Posted on September 26, 2012, 01:51 PM by Mike DrahotaUFC.com has released the first official video preview for the upcoming UFC 153, set to feature Anderson Silva vs. Stephan Bonnar from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The bout is somewhat controversial in the sencse that many don't believe Bonnar is worthy of a shot at the dominant Silva, but it could provide an interesting bout for the fans. In other action, Big Nog will take on Dave Herman in his first returning bout since injuring his arm grotesquely in a loss to Frank Mir last December. Glover Texeira will face off against skilled striker Fabio Maldonado, and Jon Fitch will test his relevancy against Erick Silva, a young fighter who has looked unstoppable up to this point. Do you think that UFC 153 has potential to be an exciting card, or will it be thrown on the heap of lackluster events trashed by injuries this entire year?

This card is a complete joke..
I think it's a bit of a marketing trick (or a genuine gift for the fans). After the cancelled event they obviously need something exciting for the fans to see.
When has watching Anderson Silva not been exciting? Against the dude that is known for taking ridiculous punishment without going down? Shiet son.
Forget the hype though, Bonnar's chances of winning are minimal.

They should have played up the "Bonnar has never been finished" angle a little bit more.
Bonnar will be finished for sure this time. Silva will pick him apart.
this fight is a joke.... he may be the American Psycho but this is more fuel for Dana to say Anderson is undefeated and he is the GOAT and whatever...

I dunno man I'm having second thoughts about this fight. I'm thinking Bonnar does a lot better than people think he will. I mean, have you seen the recent pictures of him? He must be taking his training to another level cause I'm telling you he looks ready.

but seriously, while he's kinda slow, he does have size n strength n toughness on his side, probably wont win, but we'll get to see him take an ass whooping for 15mins

Looking forward to this bonus fight since Anderson wasn't planning on fighting this year. Ill take an extra Silva fight any day.
