UFC on FOX 11: Werdum vs. Browne Preview
UFC on FOX 11 will air live next Saturday night (April 19, 2014) from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Featuring a heavyweight main event between No. 2-ranked Fabricio Werdum and No. 3-ranked Travis Browne, the pivotal headlining bout will decide the next challenger to Cain Velasquez’s belt.
Also on the docket is a women’s bantamweight co-main event showdown between top-level challengers in No. 3- ranked Miesha Tate and No. 7-ranked Liz Carmouche as they both look to right the ship after recent losses. Tate was famously submitted by Ronda Rousey in their bitter rematch at UFC 168, while Carmouche lost a decision to current number one contender Alexis Davis at UFC Fight for the Troops 3.
Rounding out the crowded main card, No. 8 lightweight Donald Cerrone faces No. 11 Edson Barboza in a battle of flashy knockout strikers, and No. 13-ranked middleweight Brad Tavares will take on surging No. 14 Yoel Romero.
