UFC on Fuel TV 3 brought an incredibly action-packed card to the table. A total of 4,592 fans attended the event live from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va.,The gate totaled $343,175. While it did possess the lowest attendance of the 3 UFC on Fuel TV broadcasts, it presented a main event that is an early candidate for Fight of the Year in Chan Sung Jung vs. Dustin Poirier.

Much has been made of the perceived poor ratings for last week's UFC on Fox event. Falling on Cinco de Mayo, both Lorenzo Fertitta and Dana White have made it a point to address the ratings and stated that they are not worried about the popularity of the UFC falling off. We will see how the latest figures for the Fuel TV broadcast bodes for the UFC.

UFC on Fuel TV 3 Post Fight Bonuses:

Fight of the Night: Chan “The Korean Zombie” Sung Jung ($40,000) vs. Dustin Poirier ($40,000)

Knockout of the Night: Tom Lawlor ($40,000); R1 KO over Jason MacDonald

Submission of the Night: Chan Sung Jung ($40,000); R4 D'Arce choke over Dustin Poirier

UFC on Fuel TV 3 is in the books, and it was a great night for MMA. We saw an absolute war as the main event, and we may have seen the next Featherweight title challenger in “The Korean Zombie.” Regardless of the attendance figures, UFC on Fuel TV 3 was a success, and the bonuses were well-earned last evening.

Four bonuses in three fights is impressive. Good to have a name that fans will recognize at 145 lbs. Looks like he will get the shot at the belt, can he beat Aldo?

Been a long time since I have just simply enjoyed a fight this much, to me it was easily the fight of the year so far.
