Jeremy Jackson sentenced to 25 year to life for sexual assault

A former member of the UFC’s welterweight roster, Jeremy Jackson has this week been sentenced to 25 years to life for sexual assault along with several other felony offences after he pleaded guilty in 2010 to charges that he raped his ex-girlfriend during an attempted burglary.

According to the Ventura County Star, Jackson broke down and pleaded guilty to the charges after a three-week trial at the advice of his lawyers.

The fighter, who appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter” season four, could have faced 60-years to life due to evidence including surveillance footage and a recorded call between Jackson and his ex-girlfriend in which the fighter admits to planning the attack.
