UFC veterans Jeff Monson and Todd Duffee to headline SFL card in September
Posted on June 28, 2012, 12:10 PM by Mike SearsonYesterday, Ken Pavia, the CEO of Super Fight League, announced via MMAJunkie.com that UFC veterans Jeff Monson (46-13-1) and Todd Duffee (7-2) will headline the promotion's September 8 card in Bangalore, India.
Monson is riding a 3-fight win streak with one draw since his November loss to Fedor Emelianenko by way of unanimous decision. He has fought 19 bouts in the past two and a half years including the UFC, PRIDE, DREAM and Strikeforce. Monson has signed with SFL for at least 4 fights.
Duffee most recently knocked out Neil Grove in 34 seconds at Super Fight League 2. This was his first win after 2 losses. The first of these lead to him being cut from the UFC after a knockout loss to Mike Russow at UFC 114. He has since then lost to Alistair Overeem via KO in a DREAM heavyweight title bout, which Duffee took on two-weeks notice.
This should make for an interesting fight. Below is a video of Duffee's victory over Grove:

I like Monson and that is some serious activity but think Duffy might just be a little too fast for him.
Could be interesting as Monson has quite a chin on him, I could maybe see a late sub from Monson
I would have to go with Duffy on this one even though monson is so well rounded with wrestling and jujitsu.
I think the younger fighter will take it.
I didn't know that Duffee was a veteran,really guys> ? since when? booya!
They said "UFC veteran". I guess if you were sent to Nam the last day and stubbed your toe you could still say you were there.
There's gonna be a whole lotta inflated testosterone levels in that cage.
