With his 18-month suspension for marijuana (after it was reduced from a ridiculous five years) recently having expired, the buzz around popular veteran Nick Diaz’s return to the Octagon is building.

Part of that return, however, is enrolling in the UFC’s drug testing partnership with USADA, which requires athletes to provide their whereabouts and schedules so they can be tested anywhere at any time. They make good on their word, too, often showing up at fighters’ homes early in the morning and, in the case of returning middleweight Tim Kennedy, pulled up to their door only to meet the barrel of a gun.

After multiple high-profile drug test failures of his own, Diaz found that out the hard way earlier today, when USADA contacted him for a random drug test. Apparently the elder Diaz brother had been out all night and wanted to get some sleep, but that would have resulted in a two-year suspension for avoiding a test according to the agent that contacted him.

Diaz then said he gave the agent his room number in a SnapChat post, noting he was ready to do a drug test. He also said he wasn’t on steroids, but did have some weed he would smoke with the agent:

Diaz then gave in to the requirements of the testing protocol, posting another video with what appeared to be the testing agent in his hotel:
