Video: Nate Diaz Trains Shaq In MMA

Nate Diaz

Outspoken UFC lightweight Nate Diaz has been out of the cage since a one-sided loss to current champion Rafael dos Anjos at last December’s UFC on FOX 13.

He’s made more headlines this year by inciting a near riot at August 1’s World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 22 card, where he got into a now-infamous brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov where he threw a punch at “The Eagle.”

Now known more for his trash talk, which somehow keeps him relevant among the top lightweights in the world despite the fact that his last win came over a depleted Gray Maynard in 2013, Diaz is currently linked to potential bouts with top-ranked former champion Anthony Pettis and the No. 2-ranked Nurmagomedov.

The popular and polarizing Diaz is apparently staying in shape by teaching and training at 6 levels gym, where he recently trained basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal with a judo throw. Shaq appears to need a bit of polishing up on his technique, but hey, that’s what Diaz is there for. Check it out right here:
