Uriah Hall Steps In For An Injured Derek Brunson At UFC Fight Night Berlin
The UFC announced on Tuesday that Uriah Hall will take the place of injured Derek Brunson versus Polish fighter Krzysztof Jotko at next weekend’s (Sat., June 20, 2015) UFC Fight Night Berlin .
According to the press release issued from the UFC, Brunson was forced to withdraw from his bout against Jotko after suffering an injury to his rib during training.
Hall (10-5) is coming off a split decision loss to Rafael Natal at UFC 187 that snapped a three-fight winning streak.
UFC Fight Night Berlin takes place on June 20, 2015, at O2 World in Berlin, Germany and will air exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
The event is headlined by Joanna Jedrzejczyk defending her strawweight title against Jessica Penne.
This event marks the first time ever that a UFC title will be defended at a UFC Fight Pass-broadcast event.
