UFC 204 Medical Suspensions: Michael Bisping Could Be Out For Six Months

With every decision comes a consequence and for those fighters who took part in battle this past at UFC 204, it’s their time to faces those consequences in the form of medical suspensions.

Some of the more notable suspensions include current UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping, who defeated Dan Henderson in the main event of UFC 204, being suspended for 180 days. Henderson was suspended for 30 days but that doesn’t matter due to his retirement. Gegard Mousasi, who beat Vitor Belfort violently, was suspended for 30 days.

Michael Bisping: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by a maxillofacial face and head CT scan; minimum suspension 60 days with 45 days no contact for left infraorbital laceration

Dan Henderson: Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact for laceration

Gegard Mousasi: Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact

Jimi Manuwa: Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact

Ovince Saint Preux: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by left knee X-ray; minimum suspension 45 days with 30 days no contact

Daniel Omielanczuk: Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact

Russell Doane: Suspended 180 days or until cleared for right elbow; minimum suspension 30 days with 21 days no contact

Iuri Alcantara: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by left elbow X-ray; minimum suspension 30 days with 21 days no contact

Davey Grant: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by left elbow X-ray and MRI; minimum suspension 30 days with 21 days no contact

Lukasz Sajewski: Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact

Mike Perry: Suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact

Danny Roberts: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by ophthalmologist; minimum suspension 45 days with 30 days no contact

Leonardo Santos: Suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact for laceration

Adriano Martins: Suspended 180 days or until cleared for left ankle; minimum suspension 30 days with 21 days no contact

UFC 204 took place on Saturday, October 8 in Manchester, England. The UFC Fight Pass prelims started at 6:30PM/3:30PM ETPT with two bouts while the FOX Sports 1 prelims aired at 8PM/5PM ETPT with four bouts. The main card (PPV) aired at 10PM/7PM ETPT with four bouts.
