UFC 181 Embedded Episode 2: Anthony Pettis Reflects, Stars Debut Reebok Announcement

Heading into arguably the most stacked card of the year, the UFC rolls on today (Wed., December 3, 2014) with the second episode of UFC 181 Embedded for this weekend’s blockbuster pay-per-view (PPV) from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The episode features lightweight champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis makes the rounds during a busy media day in New York City. The champion opens up with some of his personal thoughts about finally returning from over a year off with knee surgery.

Meanwhile, his opponent Gilbert Melendez prepares for to head to Vegas from his native San Francisco. Ever the levelheaded competitor, Melendez gets into a focused mindset for his pivotal bout with Pettis.

The episode kicks into high gear when middleweight champion Chris Weidman, women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey head into yesterday’s huge announcement of the UFC’s uniform sponsorship deal with Reebok. Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta jokingly gear up in their “Boy band” microphones to make history with the help of recording artist Swizz Beatz.
