Tommy Fury Edges World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall in Wild Brawl – Fury vs. Hall Highlights
Despite giving up more than 100 pounds, Tommy Fury managed to secure a victory over Eddie Hall during their Misfits Boxing main event clash in Manchester.
Fury came out immediately, looking to gas out Hall by making the world-famous strongman chase him around the ring. Offering little in the way of offense early on, Fury surrendered the first two rounds to Hall. However, the tables turned in the third when Fury finally started to wake up as Hall got noticeably slower.
Fury’s momentum grew with each passing round as Hall started to look like nothing more than a punching bag with legs. ‘TNT’ appeared to be on his way to a decision victory before Hall gave everything he had in the sixth. Hall landed some big punches in the final stanza, forcing Fury to go into defensive mode.
Unfortunately for Hall, the late comeback wasn’t enough to even things up on the scorecards.
Official Result: Tommy Fury def. Eddie Hall via majority decision (59-56, 58-56, 57-57).
