Dan Henderson wound back the clock this past Saturday (June 6th, 2015) with a rousing first round knockout of Tim Boetsch. The former Pride FC two weight boss silenced his critics that claim he shouldn’t still be fighting, ruining ‘The Barbarian’ with his patented H-Bomb and finishing with a flurry of hard punches on the octagon canvas.

An ugly losing streak was snapped for the war torn ‘Dangerous’ Dan, and he is still adamant that he’ll be fighting on. So the question has been asked about who Hendo will fight next, and one middleweight staple in Tim Kennedy has answered the call. Check out what the ‘Ranger’ posted to his Twitter account:

The Army sniper has been out of action since a controversial UFC 178 loss to Yoel Romero. ‘Stoolgate‘ saw Kennedy get knocked out by Yoel Romero after a lengthy break between rounds, and a dismayed ‘TK’ has mulled over his future in fighting. After calling out Shogun Rua, and Lyoto Machida to no avail, it looks like a ‘Fight For The Troops’ card would be pretty fitting for a pair of American heroes to headline.

The two-time Strikeforce middleweight title challenger had a decent four fight win streak going before he met ‘Soldier Of God’ at UFC 178 last September, given the fact that Henderson is 2-4 in his last six, is this really a fight that makes sense? Then again you can never count Dan Henderson out, just ask Tim Boetsch’s rock hard beard.
