Still Undefeated Conor McCarthy Mauls Opponent in First Round at Cage Warriors 200
Irishman Conor McCarthy was hunting his first Cage Warriors finish and maintaining his unbeaten status.
Round 1 started with McCarthy pressing Silva and it was easy for the Irishman. The return fire from Silva clearly did not trouble the rising star as he pushed on peppering his opponent to the body and head in style. Very early on there was a sense of inevitablyity in the finish and it arrived moments later. McCarthy smelt blood and like a shark chased down Silva as the Brazilian drowned in the Irish pressure.
The Hotstepper finished Silva at 3:44 of the very first round. He moved to 6-0 and earned his first Cage Warriors finish at Cage Warriors 200.
