UFC Fighter Sedriques Dumas Arrested on Multiple Charges, Including Home Invasion and Battery

UFC middleweight fighter Sedriques Dumas has been arrested again.

According to a report from MMA Junkie, Dumas was arrested Monday on five charges including felony home invasion robbery without a firearm, felony possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor drug equipment possession and or use. Fight Swipe first reported the arrest.

Online records indicate that Dumas is currently jailed in Escambia County and appeared before Judge Kristina Denise Lightel for an initial appearance on Tuesday. His bond was set at $558,500.

Dumas is now due for a pretrial hearing on May 6. He also has an arraignment scheduled for May 23.

Sedriques Dumas has a lengthy rap sheet

This is the 14th time Dumas has been arrested since 2014. His most recent arrest came in February 2024 when he was taken into custody for misdemeanor battery. As a result, Dumas spent several weeks behind bars ahead of a UFC bout in late March.

Days ahead of his appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022, Dumas allegedly punched a woman during an incident that began at a bar in Pensacola, Florida. According to the police report, the scuffle spilled out of the bar and continued over several blocks. Dumas was accused of initiating the brawl and brandishing a firearm, but the case was closed without any arrests being made.

The 29-year-old fighter last fought at UFC 314, where he suffered a first-round TKO loss to Michal Oleksiejczuk. Overall, he is 3-3 inside the Octagon
