Luan Lacerda Submits Saimon Oliveira with Slick Second-Round Arm Bar – UFC Rio Highlights
Luan Lacerda handed Saimon Oliveira his fourth straight loss inside the Octagon to kick off UFC Rio.
Lacerda came out immediately looking to take down Oliveira. Lacerda did exactly that, though Oliveira muscled his way back up in short order. Still, that didn’t deter Lacerda from leaning on his ground game, getting his opponent back on the mat and nearly cinching in a rear-naked choke after taking Oliveira’s back.
Halfway through the second stanza, Lacerda once again took Oliveira’s back. But just as he did in the first, Oliveira reversed position and rained down some solid strikes on the ground.
Lacerda looked to catch Oliveira with an arm bar. After an initial failed attempt, Lacerda managed to lock in the maneuver, forcing Oliveira to tap out.
