Conor McGregor allegedly slugged a fan while at a bar in Dublin, Ireland. This is the latest incident that keeps his name in the headlines.

The former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion made news yet again when the Irish tabloids recently brought word that police are investigating an alleged assault involving him.

The alleged incident took place at the Marble Arch Pub last weekend that has McGregor being accused of slugging a loudmouth fan.

According to Irish Mirror, McGregor was at the bar with friends drinking it up after an amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) event took place. It was noted in the article that McGregor was “acting the mick” and getting on people’s nerves.

This led to one fan starting to tease him about losing to UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at the UFC 229 pay-per-view event where he lost by submission.

That’s when the fists allegedly started flying. As of this writing, McGregor’s team has yet to issue a statement.

The former UFC champion has been in the news for various reasons including an incident that led to him smashing a phone that belonged to a man in Miami last month outside of a nightclub.
