Rafael Dos Anjos Destroys Donald Cerrone, Warns Conor McGregor ‘This Is My Division’
The stage was set for the main event of UFC on FOX 17. The headliner featured a lightweight title bout between champion Rafael dos Anjos (25-7) and Donald Cerrone (28-7, 1 NC).
It wasn’t even close.
The two quickly went toe-to-toe. The champion landed a right hand. Blood already trickled from the nose of the challenger. A huge body kick took the wind out of “Cowboy’s” sails and dos Anjos jumped on him. The champion rained down punches and that was a wrap.
After the bout, dos Anjos warned reigning featherweight champion Conor McGregor to stay in the 145-pound division because lightweight is his.
