Nate Diaz Calls Out Conor McGregor: You Want That Real S***

After not winning a fight since November 2013 and getting absolutely destroyed in his last bout against current champion Rafael dos Anjos last December, not many were betting on Nate Diaz hen he faced Michael Johnson on the main card of tonight’s (Sat., December 19, 2015) UFC on FOX 17 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

The Stockton slugger proved them wrong, however, showing up and out-striking Johnson with an endless streak of pinpoint boxing combinations to win a unanimous decision. But it may have been his post-fight speech that actually raised the more eyebrows than his dominant and impressive win over a top-ranked lightweight in the ‘Menace’.

After the win, Diaz called out newly minted UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan by implementing a profanity-laced tirade that not surprisingly called out for a fight with the smack-spewing Irish titleholder:

In the tirade, which was bleeped out by FOX, Diaz said McGregor was taking all the things he had worked for by being an outspoken promoter of the fight game for many years:

“F*** that. Conor McGregor, you’re taking everything I worked for, mother******. I’m gonna fight your f****** ass. You know what’s the real fight, what’s the real money fight; it’s me. Not these clowns you already punked at the press conference. Don’t nobody wanna see that, you know you already beat them already; that’s the easy fight. You want that real s***; right here.”

Rogan then cut off Diaz for blaring profanities on a major network, but the goal was accomplished. With a huge rebound win over a top-ranked lightweight in his pocket and talk of McGregor gong up to 155 pounds, should they book the outspoken Diaz against the silver-tongued McGregor?

They had better hurry, because Diaz already believes McGregor is ducking him.
