The UFC will make their debut trip to Scotland this coming July 18th, and will be hosted by the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. The promotion today announced the initial line up of fights for the historic event, and it features well known name in Great Britain at the head of the card. Brash middleweight contender and trash talking pro Michael Bisping will take on Brazilian grappler-turned striker Thales Leites.

‘The Count’ has gone win-loss in his last eight fights, most recently defeating CB Dolloway by decision at UFC 186. Wins over Brian Stann, Cung Le and Alan Belcher have been shadowed by losses to Vitor Belfort, Tim Kennedy, Chael Sonnen and Luke Rockhold. A win would put Bisping on his first active streak since 2011. Facing him will be a resurgent Leites, who is currently riding an eight-fight spree.
