Marwan Rahiki broke Harry Hardwick’s jaw en route to his first career victory inside the Octagon at UFC Vegas 114.
The opening round delivered some hard-hitting action, with both fighters landing big. Late in the first, Rahiki turned up the heat and had Hardwick on his heels, but the Brit was far from done. Hardwick fired back amid the onslaught, landing a right hand that immediately switched the momentum and put Rahiki on his back foot.

Less than a minute into the second, Rahiki connected with a perfectly timed head kick that had Hardwick reeling. But just as he did in the first, Hardwick weathered the storm and came right back, lighting up Rahiki with a flurry of his own.
Seconds later, Rahiki had Hardwick on the ropes, but it still wasn’t enough to put away the hard-headed Brit.

As we came back from break between the second and third rounds, we were informed that the fight was called off as Hardwick had broken his jaw.
