Ailín Pérez Grinds Out Big Win Over Macy Chiasson – UFC Mexico Highlights
Ailin Perez extended her unbeaten streak to six with a dominant decision win over Macy Chiasson at UFC Mexico.
Perez wasted no time scoring her first takedown, getting Chiasson down to the mat less than a minute into the opening round. However, it was Chiasson who would control the action, fishing for a knee bar before taking Perez’s back and cinching in a body lock.
That allowed Chiasson to control a majority of the round, though Perez ultimately reversed the position and notched another takedown in the closing seconds of the stanza.

Perez secured another slick takedown early in the second. Still, there wasn’t enough action to the referee’s liking, prompting him to stand the fighters up after a relatively short period. Of course, that didn’t stop Perez from putting Chiasson on the mat once again and keeping her there for the remainder of the round.

It was more of the same in the third, with Perez putting Chiasson on the canvas and getting comfortable in half guard. With prompts from the referee to fight, Perez proceeded to land some short, grinding elbows. As Chiasson attempted to scramble her way out of the precarious position, Perez transitioned to Chiasson’s back and got her hooks in.
With the clock winding down, Chiasson used the fence to fight her way up, but by then, it was too late for her to mount any offense.
Official Result: Ailin Perez def. Macy Chiasson via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
