UFC Fight Night 100’s second main card bout featured two 170-pounders in search of a spot in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight rankings. Warlley Alves (10-2) and Kamaru Usman (9-1) were the two competitors who met inside the Octagon.

Despite early success, Alves would find himself on the receiving end of a beatdown at the hands of “The Nigerian Nightmare.”

Alves went low with a kick, but it was parried. Usman was countered with a right hand. A one-two combination found the mark for Alves. Usman cut off Alves a few times, but couldn’t do any damage.
