Junior dos Santos put on a show against former title contender Derrick Lewis in the main event of tonight’s (Sat., March 9, 2019) UFC on ESPN+ 4 at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

The fight did not fail to live up to the explosive expectations laid out for it. “Cigano” rocked “The Black Beast” early and followed to swarm, but Lewis wobbled “JDS” with a big strike of his own:

‘JDS’ recovered. Soon after, he landed a huge spinning back kick to the body that badly hurt Lewis.

Yet the crowd wondered if he was only playing possum when he lashed out with a huge strike out of nowhere:

Lewis made it out of the opening frame, but was at least somewhat compromised.

“Cigano” was patient but eventually found his opening in the second round. He rocked ‘The Black Beast’ with his patented overhand right, following with a flurry of pinpoint shots to earn the stoppage:
