Joe Rogan Undergoes Blood-Filtering Therapy: “It seems very weird when you do it”
Longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan has undergone plasmapheresis at Ways2Well most recently.
For the unversed, during plasmapheresis, blood is drawn from the patient, plasma is separated, and the cleaned plasma is returned to the body once toxins and harmful components are removed.
The organization describes plasmapheresis as “one of the most talked-about treatments in longevity.” According to Ways2Well, during this blood-filtering therapy, blood is drawn from the patient, helping to filter out circulating antibodies, immune complexes, cytokines, and pathological proteins. This advanced therapy helps reduce immune overactivation. It removes harmful proteins from the blood and decreases the circulating toxic burden.
Here is how Brigham Buhler of Ways2Well describes plasmapheresis:
“It [plasmapheresis] hooks your body up. It’s almost like a dialysis machine, and we will take your blood, filter that blood, take all the plasma, particulates, contaminants, microtoxins, and all of those things will be filtered out, and then we have to decide what we put back in your body. We not only replace it with albumin, but we also stack it in the Ways2Well approach, and that allows us, in our mind, to do the best of both worlds. We are providing patients not only with the cleansing and purifying benefits of plasma fires but also with some of the best, most potent, vibrant cellular treatment modalities possible in the marketplace.”
Joe Rogan shares experience after undergoing plasmapheresis at Ways2Well
Joe Rogan looked super enthusiastic after undergoing plasmapheresis. He posted an image holding three bags of plasma, referring to this advanced therapy as “changing the oil in your body.”
“Went down to @Ways2Well and did plasmapheresis… this is the stuff they pulled out of my blood. That yellow/orange liquid is plasma — it carries a lot of the inflammatory proteins, toxins, and byproducts that build up over time. They separate it out, remove what they don’t want, and replace it so your system can function cleaner. It’s basically like changing the oil in your body.”
After plasmapheresis, many have achieved better sleep scores and recovery. Rogan, too, is excited to find out how his body will benefit from plasma replacement. The UFC commentator added:
“It seems very weird when you do it, but the people that I know who have tried this have experienced better sleep scores and markedly better recovery. We’ll see…They’re also working on some next-level approaches using biologics alongside the plasma replacement, which is pretty fascinating. Crazy experience. Super curious where this kind of tech is headed.”
