Jared Gordon KOs Thiago Moisés with Perfectly Timed Overhand Right – UFC Vegas 106 Highlights
Jared Gordon earned a much-needed win at UFC Vegas 106 on Saturday night, putting away Thiago Moises with a perfectly timed overhand round in the opening round.
Gordon immediately managed to get Moises’ back on the mat and settled into his guard. Moises appeared to land an elbow from the bottom that busted Gordon open, but that didn’t deter ‘Flash’ from clubbing away with some solid ground and pound strikes from the top.
Near the halfway point of the round, Moises managed to inch his way to the cage wall and use it to climb back to his feet. With the fighters back upright and separated, Gordon unleashed an overhand right that caught Moises clean and sent him crashing to the canvas. One follow-up shot later, that’s all she wrote.
