Glover Texeira weighs in on Rampage, training with Chuck Liddell, and a plan to beat Jon Jones

In this interview courtesy of our friends at MMA H.E.A.T., Karyn Bryant interviews UFC Light Heavyweight Glover Texeira about a multitude of topics in today’s MMA. Texeira stated that he obviously wanted to fight Rampage Jackson at UFC 153 in Rio in his home country, but that he thinks his replacement fight with Fabio Maldanado will be exciting nonetheless. He believes that he has more tools than Maldanado. Speaking from his home gym at Black House in California, Texeira discusses fighting fellow Brazilian teammate Lyoto Machida. Texeira moves on to talk Jon Jones and his famous training partner Chuck Liddell. He is also focusing on improving his wrestling with coach Lew Polley, discussing the fact that Brazilians do not wrestle in school like Americans do. Texeira appears to be a hot product as Shogun, Jackson, and Rashad Evans have all backed out of a fight with him for their own reasons.
