UFC 182 title challenger Daniel Cormier has a lot on his plate in January. Come the 3rd, he will face one of the all time greats in Jon Jones, as he attempts to snatch the belt from the younger and taller fighter. One question surrounding Cormier in the lead up to this monumental fight is whether he can get inside the range of Jon Jones.

He looks more trim than we’ve seen him before, and his team mates truly believe this is his time. UFC standout Luke Rockhold talks candidly about Cormier’s wrestling, as does Bellator MMA light-heavyweight King Mo.

Will his appeared physical prowess be enough to overcome the dominant force at the top of the light-heavyweight division? The debate has raged on for a long time because of the fight being moved from UFC 182 to January 3rd, but it fast approaches.

Javier Vasquez, head coach at AKA (American Kickboxing Academy) says that the bout against Jones at UFC 182 will be a five round war. The video below contains some pretty cool training footage of Daniel Cormier at AKA, and is courtesy of The Shoot on youtube.
