Dana White “Probably” Has Some Good News For Arman Tsarukyan

Dana White, Arman Tsarukyan

Dana White has finally teased some good news for Arman Tsarukyan. Tsarukyan was in attendance this past weekend at UFC 324, where Justin Gaethje dismantled Paddy Pimblett in a five-round war and captured the interim lightweight title again.

While ‘Ahalkalakets’ has to wait longer for another undisputed title opportunity, there is still good news for him. The UFC CEO revealed at the post-fight presser that the promotion has built its fight cards up to March and April. When a report asked White if Tsarukyan could be on one of those cards, he said:

“Um, off the top of my head, I don’t know. Probably.”

Check out Dana White’s comments about Arman Tsarukyan below (11:53):

Arman Tsarukyan last fought Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar and secured a round two submission. After that, he wanted to fight for the title but was denied for multiple reasons.

Can Arman Tsarukyan be on the UFC White House Card?

Dana White has previously stated that the promotion will start working on the fighter lineup for the White House card on January 26 and wants to finalize the entire card by the second week of February. While there could be 6-7 title fights on the June 14 card, Arman Tsarukyan might also land a spot on it, given his number-one contendership status.

Assuming all title fights are on the main card, the UFC can give ‘Ahalkalakets’ a shot at the BMF championship, which the Armenian previously wished for.

If Tsarukyan is on the prelims, then the biggest fight for him will be a grudge match against Paddy Pimblett, especially now, after Pimblett’s loss at UFC 324.

This matchup makes perfect sense given the bad blood that has been brewing, especially before the 29-year-old potentially faces the winner of Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje later this year.

Meanwhile, ‘The Highlight’ and ‘El Matador’ have shown interest in unifying the titles on June 14.
