Dan Hooker Is “Going to F*ck Everyone’s Night Up” After Being Bombarded With Death Threats Ahead of UFC Paris
No. 12 UFC lightweight contender Dan Hooker has alleged that he is getting death threats from his upcoming opponent’s fans.
Hooker is on a two-fight losing skid and is going to look to return to winning ways in the main event of UFC Paris on September 5, where he will lock horns with Salahdine Parnasse.
French-Moroccan star Parnasse, a former two-division KSW champion who boasts a pro MMA record of (23-2), recently signed with the UFC and is set to make his promotional debut against “The Hangman” on home soil at UFC Paris.
Parnasse is getting a 5-round main event bout in his promotional debut against a ranked opponent. A victory would instantly establish him as a ranked lightweight contender.
However, Hooker plans to ruin Parnasse’s debut, and the hate the former has been receiving lately has only fueled him to go out there and “f*ck everyone’s night up” at UFC Paris by sending Parnasse to the shadow realm.
During an interview with Submission Radio, Dan Hooker explained the kind of threats he has been receiving from Salahdine Parnasse’s fans. He said:
“The death threats have been outrageous. I didn’t get it when I fought [Benoit Saint Denis]. Like just the French people and speaking French telling me I’m going to die and telling me they’re going to kill me and sh*t. The death threats have been outrageous.”
Hooker’s last opponent, Benoit Saint Denis, was also French, but before and after their fight, he didn’t receive any outrageous messages or threats from BSD’s fans. However, this time, things have changed drastically, and Hooker is not surprised.
“Think maybe because BSD, he’s obviously French as well, my last opponent. I feel like because he’s just such a respectful guy. The people that follow him or support him aren’t complete f**king cunts. But whoever this c*nt’s fans are outrageous.”
Lastly, “The Hangman” sent a warning to the 28-year-old:
“It’s going to feel pretty sweet shutting this kid’s lights out. Making these guys eat their words… I’m here to ruin hopes and dreams. This kid wants to come in, make a name for himself, crack the top 10. He wants to be a superstar, but I’m going to fly to France, and I’m going to f*ck everyone’s night up. Salahdine Parnasse is ready to receive Death threats from Dan Hooker’s fans
Responding to Dan Hooker’s claim that he received death threats from Salahdine Parnasse’s fans, the UFC newcomer quipped on The Ariel Helwani Show that it does not concern him in any manner what his fans are telling “The Hangman,” and he won’t tell them to stop. Instead, the 28-year-old said that he is ready to face similar heat from the Kiwi’s fanbase:
“Everything with the fans, my fans or Dan’s fans, doesn’t concern me. I have only one goal, and it’s to fight Dan Hooker on September 5. I respect Dan Hooker, but the fans do what they want. It doesn’t concern me. Dan Hooker’s fans can say nasty things to me, but I’m only focused on the fight.”
