It’s fight week once again here at LowKickMMA, and the goods on offer come in the form of UFC 191 on September 5th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The light-heavyweight division has an exciting bout on the PPV (pay-per-view) main card lined up, as former UFC title challenger Anthony Johnson returns to action against British striker Jimi Manuwa. The matchmaking is certainly on point for this battle of stand up strikers.

”Rumble’ flew too close to the sun in his UFC 187 title bid, allowing Daniel Cormier to inflict his famous grind too often and eventually submitting to a choke midway through the fight. He’ll look to get back on track against ‘Poster Boy’ at UFC 191, who himself had to bounce back from a hard loss to Alexander Gustafsson, he went on to defeat Jan Blachowicz in Poland this past April, and a win over Johnson would be his biggest scalp to date.

In this edition of the UFC Countdown series, both men reflect on what got them to this point in their careers. Johnson gives an in-depth look in to his crushing UFC 187 loss, and ‘Poster’ boy discusses his first career loss to ‘The Mauler’, and more.
