Chase Hooper Secures Lightning-Fast RNC Win Over Mitch Ramirez at UFC Oklahoma City

Chase Hooper

Lightweight contenders Mitch Ramirez and Chase Hooper locked horns at UFC Oklahoma City earlier tonight.

As the bout began, Hooper landed a couple of jabs on Ramirez and then a high kick before scoring back-to-back takedowns. Once on the ground, after locking in the body triangle, the 26-year-old Hooper quickly sunk in a rear-naked choke, forcing Mitch Ramirez to tap in just seconds.

Hooper has finally managed to snap his 2-fight losing skid with his Round 1 submission win over Ramirez.

The 33-year-old Ramirez, on the other hand, failed to return to the winning column at UFC Oklahoma City and has now lost 3 fights in a row.
