Bethe Correia On Potential Fight With Miesha Tate: I Will Retire Her

Ronda Rousey

And so it continues…

Bethe Correia recently spoke with MMA Fighting about wanting to be the person to retire Miesha Tate following Tate’s most recent Twitter jab at her. We noted back on November 30th that Tate used a little holiday sense of humor in replying to talks of a potential fight with Correia as she posted the following on Twitter:

Now, it’s time for Correia to fire back.

“I woke up and there’s a tweet from Miesha Tate saying I’m not the brightest bulb on the tree and I thought to myself, Miesha is probably too bored, has nothing to do in her personal life and career, and she’s trying to throw her frustration into someone else. Ever since she was sidelined by the UFC and realized she won’t be fighting for the title anytime soon, she lost her mind.”

“When I lost, Meisha said I never deserved a title fight, and called me a rookie. I told her to come fight me so I can show her what a rookie can do, but she never agreed to fight me because she thought she would be fighting Ronda next, and that never happened. The UFC is keeping her in the sidelines. If they want me to go in there and retire Miesha, I will do my best to show the world this rookie has some knockout power and retire her. I will make your wish come true, Miesha. I can do this for you.”

Both girls do not have a fight lined up, so it would make sense that they would fight each other next.
