Johnson vs. Dodson & Pettis vs. Cerrone land on UFC on Fox 6 in Chicago
Posted on November 6, 2012, 11:49 PM by Andreas HaleThe first free card to air on Fox in 2013 will feature a flyweight title clash between new champion Demetrious Johnson and #1 contender John Dodson. Also, a potential lightweight title eliminator between Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis will also take place on the January 26 show in Chicago.
The announcement was made on FUEL TV's "UFC Tonight"
Dodson staked his claim as the #1 contender when he scored a TKO against UFC newcomer Jussier Formiga back at UFC on FX in Minneapolis. The Ultimate Fighter winner will now face Johnson in a battle featuring two of the fastest fighters in the UFC. Johnson became champion when he beat Joseph Benevidez by decision in September.
Meanwhile, Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis will finally clash after the two had been going back and forth in the media about facing each other. Pettis has been out of action since his highlight reel knockout of Joe Lauzon back in February. Cerrone is coming off a thrilling 1st round stoppage of Melvin Guillard at UFC 150 back in August. Both are looking to step back into the title picture scene and are expected to have an amazing fight.
UFC on Fox 6 takes place on January 26 at the United Center in Chicago.

pettis vs cerrone is gonna be epic!
key to the fox cards put on the 155lbs and below weight classes on
And Rampage vs Glover's on this card now too. So the main 3 fights are all kinds of awesome.
I got Pettis and Mighty Mouse for the win....
UFC on FOX cards are now more stacked than the PPVs.
Except from the first one obviously, they have all been either huge names on the card or amazing match ups for the hardcores. Looks like 2013 is continuing the trend.
They're actually starting to make the most of their FOX deal with these cards, sure to bring in more people.
Hope Mighty Mouse punches that stupid ass smirk off Dodson's face.
Oh and Rampage will knock Glover out... period!
I don't know what the whole hype is about, sure its
gonna be an exciting 20 seconds but we all know
Glover is going to sleep... Snuggie time!
