Tim Boetsch delivered the comeback of the night at UFC 144. As the third round began he was staring defeat dead in the eye, but he came out like a man possessed and did exactly what he needed to do to win the fight, knock out his opponent.

Yushin Okami had Boetsch right where he wanted him, but Boetsch had enough in the tank to do what every fighters corner tells them to do when they are down two rounds to none, go for the knockout. While it was not the best comeback ever, it was a memorable one, advancing Boetsch’s UFC Middleweight record to 3-0.

Following the fight, Boetsch was asked who he wanted in his next fight and while t wasn’t a surprise to hear him ask for a highly ranked fighter, it was somewhat of a surprise to hear him ask for Dan Henderson.

What do you think LowKick'ers, is Boetsch vs. Henderson the fiight to make?

Boetsch showed heart and durability in the Okami fight but he would need to come out like he did in the 3rd from go if he fought Henderson. If he took the volume of strikes he did in round one and two with hendersons power and killer instinct the fight wouldnt go long enough for Boetsch to take advantage of his oponents fatigue. Hendo by 1st round KO.

Its not a bad idea for Tim esp if Dan cuts to 185 to fight him, I doubt Dan would take this fight though he has nothing to gain, and he dosnt fight as good at 185, at his current age.

Yeah, Henderson said he won't drop to 185 anymore for anyone but Anderson Silva. I seriously doubt he'd change his mind for Boetsch. It'd be a lose-lose fight for him.

I can understand why the Barbarian wants Hendo. After Okami outboxed him so badly, Tim probably thinks he'll have a better shot against a fellow headhunter.

But I don't see Dan taking this one. He's already said he'd only go to 185 for Anderson Silva. And a win over Tim does nothing for his career at this point, so it's all risk and no gain.

Settle down Tim, you are hanging out with Mark Hunt a little too much.

What's wrong with mark hunt trying to talk his way into a title shot? He ain't getting any younger & and mark could knock any man out standing. JDS is a striker after all. Overeem the so called kick boxer didn't dare stand with hunt back when they fought, he took hunt down as soon as he could and went for the sub.

Why would he not call out the UFC champion, the best in the world the non fake champion, the undefeated, the greatest of all time Chael Sonnen? Why even waste his time with this Dan Henderson guy I mean really what has he done in his career? And Anderson Silva who is that guy? that dues will not amount to anything. I thing the Barbarian should fight Sonnen and not waste his time with not names like Silva and Henderson.

Yeah, no Hendo unless he moves back up to LHW. The MW division is a bit to backed up at the moment to really make a case for him to be at the top of the pack right now. Boetsch just beat a former title contender. Chris Weidman is a good option. He just a beat a former contender as well. A win for either of these guys in that matchup would make a case for them being in "the mix".

The man got owned and manhandled for 2 full rounds..got lucky by swinging like a retard and caught him..Now he wants Hendo?.I like Tim but deep inside even he knows he was pissing in the wind that night..Luckily he turned just in time before it went all over his leg..
