Rashad Evans: I can't wait until I finally get my chance to shut him up

Rashad Evans is set to face the former UFC light heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson at UFC 114. This highly anticipated grudge match was supposed to take place at UFC 107 but Rampage had to pull out of the fight because of the A-Team movie. Both these fighters served as coaches at TUF 10, where the hatred towards eachother increased 10 folds and they have guaranteed a KO victroy. In a recent Interview Rashad Evans said

"I don't like all the pre-fight talking, so I can't wait until I finally get my chance to shut him up," said Evans. "There were a lot of times on the show when I wanted to hit him right there. When Keith [Jardine] was training for his fight with Rampage, I had to mimic Rampage's style. I can probably beat Rampage as Rampage now. Plus, he's gotten fat. He needs to get in shape just to get in shape. I may come to the Octagon with Mr. T just to get in his head."

Rashad Evans is so confident in this fight that he believes he can fight like Rampage and beat him. This over confidence could lead to his defeat but for now we will just have to wait till UFC 114 on May 29 to find out what happens.

honestly, i see no way Rashad can win, If Rashad decides to stand wit Rampage he is going to get Ko'd for sure and if he wrestles wit Rampage, i think rampage can bring the fight back to their feet and ko rashad just like Rampage did to Henderson even tho he wasnt able to ko Henderson he was able to grapple wit Henderson and win

I don't really like Rashad, but i wouldn't under estimate him. It's MMA anything can happen and Rashad is not a bad fighter either.

it will be his quickness and being able to defend the take down...

cause if Rashad can have good movement and not square up

then Rampage will have to take him down to slow him up a lil GnP

but Rashad is really fast has a lil weight in his hands so..... but as

****y as he is....DAMN.... cause Rampage is no joke,......Machida

cracked his chin Rampge will break it

I can only see Rashad grind out a decision or possibly pull a surprise submission. No way hes going to try to stand with Rampage for more than 2 minutes

Oh Come On Guys!!!! So what, just because Rashad had one doubtful fight against a top fighter like he had against silva, you gonna write him off??? Does anyone of you remember the speed and power with which Rashad's fist was flying into the face of none other then Chuck Lidell?

No doubt Rashad has power, Maybe even more so then Jackson.

Dont forget rampage came out and looked stiff and slow and weak as hell against forrest griffin. So both fighters can have a bad day and both fighters can have great days where they're basically unbeatable.

60 to 40 percent chance that Rashad beats Jackson. Ninja, Your'e WRONG!

    I might add:

If anybody can get under Rampages skin its Rashad, and when Rampage is under a lot of pressure he performs like he did against Forrest, which was a pathetic display, he could've easily beat Forrest if he was in his zone. But he was makin a billion mistakes leaving a lot of openings. Judging by the way Rampages nerves got the best of him in TUF se 10, I think he's in for a beating. Rashad faught forrest too and handled the pressure a lot better. Cant wait to see Rashad shut Rampages dumb ass mouth up!!!! Go EVANS!!!!!!!!

I could see it goin either way. Rashad has knock out power and Rampage has been knocked out before. Personally i like both fighters but i think it would be more interesting if Rampage won

Rampage trains with bisping remember so the jab and run technique probably won't work.

That would be funny if Rashad showed up with Mr. T. He might need him as a tag partner.

this fight will be a lot more competitive than most people seem to think rampage has been beaten by fighters that are more technical and faster than him in the past and rashad is both on the other hand rampage hits like a truck and has a great chin so i give it 50/50 either way

Rampage ftw! Hopefully he gets the W and gets back to the title. Things were more fun back then in the LHW division. I think Rashad has a shot to beat Rampage but I think its a small shot. Silva baited Rashad and almost KO'd him. I think Rampage can do more than Silva could.

Rashad will try to be smart and get the win via decision just like his gameplan with Thiago Silva. He will be too scared to bang with Rampage coz he knows he has a glass chin.

NO, rampage didn't knock out griffin why would rampage be knocked out, just because lyoto ****ed him up with like a thousand strikes doesn't mean rampage will knock him out, but anyways i like both fighters and im just looking forward to seeing this one.
