Vitor Belfort not injured, Title shot with Anderson Silva Confirmed by Dana White.

There has been reports that a “undisclosed” injury had put Vitor Belfort out of UFC 122, putting Nate Marquart to take his place. Aside from Nate being his replacement, none of that is true. Vitor is perfect healthy and is more than likely set to face Anderson Silva at  UFC 125 on January 1st.

The news of Vitor’s healthy condition and match up with Anderson Silva came via Dana Whites Twitter account when he recently “tweeted” :

“Vitor is not injured He is going to fight Anderson for the title and the winner of Marquart vs Okami are next.”

This is a very odd chain of events considering the poster for UFC 122 was already released, and both fighters began training camps. But it is most likely due to the fact that UFC Middle Weight Contender Chael Sonnen tested positive for PED drugs.
