Video: Watch Vitor Belfort’s First Upload To Youtube

Former UFC light-heavyweight and heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort returns for a middleweight trilogy maker against Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 77, It will be the first time ‘The Phenom’ has competed since his UFC 187 TKO loss to middleweight champion Chris Weidman, and will mark fight number 36 for the well travelled Brazilian veteran.

He faces ‘Dangerous Dan’ for the rubber match in their long standing rivalry having first lost a decision to the two-weight Pride champion in 2006, but avenging that loss with a spectacular KO by head kick in 2013 in Brazil. Once again fighting in his home nation, ‘The Phenom’ is looking in considerably better shape than when he fought ‘The All-American’ back in May.

Recent pictures once again opened the gates to speculation over Belfort’s sudden weight gain and toning up, with constant reference to his failed steroid test and TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) use up until late 2013. The renowned knockout artist wants to paint a different picture of himself though, and has released the first video to his newly created Youtube channel.

Belfort can be seen training hard in the gym, and also praying for strength ahead of his third fight with Hendo. He certainly does look in fantastic shape for a 38 year old that looked like a welterweight just six months ago. He’s clearly been putting in hard work, but will he be able to make it 2-1 against the resurgent Henderson? The knockout victory Hendo scored over Tim Boetsch last time out brought back memories of his prime years, and makes the trilogy bout on November 7 all the more enticing.
