Yesterday afternoon (Fri., March 20, 2015) UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and polarizing top contender Conor McGregor began their 10-day UFC 189 World Tour for their anticipated showdown on July 11 from Las Vegas with the inaugural presser.

Not surprisingly, the two traded several back-and-forth blows, with Aldo enacting his usual stoic stance while McGregor spouted off at the mouth in hostile territory a per the usual.

But “Junior” showed a surprising bit of emotion that we just don’t usually see in the lead-up to most of his fights, as he played to his hometown fans by arriving with a kiss before flipping McGregor the time-honored bird to the delight of the crowd.
