Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson will do battle to headline the UFC Fight Night 82 event this Saturday February 6, 2016. The ex-champion ‘Bigg Rigg’ has persevered through weight issues and close losses to get in to another big fight, and the young ‘Wonderboy’ Stephen Thompson will look to leapfrog Hendricks in the race for a welterweight title fight.
There’s a heavyweight clash between Roy Nelson and Jared Rosholt to look forward to, ex Strikeforce boss Rafael Feijao will take on OSP, and Mike Jackson will hope to get a crack as CM Punk’s first opponent as he battles Mickey Gall. There’s Joseph Benavidez vs Zach Makovsky, Misha Cirkunov vs Alex Nicholson and Josh Burkman vs. KJ Noons also on offer for the free card’s viewers.
