Spike TV to air UFC on versus 1 prelim-fights
For those MMA fans who were hoping to see Clay Guida or Brendan Schaub in action this past sunday night there is good news. In a special episode of UFC Unleashed today (24th march) at 9pm EST spike TV will be airing two the preliminary card fights from UFC on Versus 1:Vera vs Jones. The match-ups included on this show will be Clay Guida vs Shannon Gugerty, Brendan Schaub vs Chase Gormley. Also the unaired match up between Dennis Silver and Paul Kelly(UFC 105) as well as Jeremy Stephens vs Justin Buchholz (UFN 19) will be aired on Unleashed just before the final episode of UFC Primetime.
With Georges-St.Pierre vs Dan Hardy and Mir vs Carwin coming on Saturday, and the Florian vs Gomi event set for UFN 21, MMA fans are being treated to ten days of great action. So these prelim-fights should keep fans going until the next big event. With UFC on versus 1 proving such a great success it would seem that the UFC is having a real good week so far and it can only get better.
