Sage Northcutt vs. Cody Pfister Slated For UFC Fight Night 80

The UFC announced on Monday that Sage Northcutt (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Cody Pfister (12-4-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will meet in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 76.

Since Sage Northcutt defeated Francisco Trevino in a lightweight bout to start his UFC career at UFC 192, fans and media members alike have praised him. To say the least, Northcutt lived up to the hype in his UFC debut.

Pfister is 4-1 in his last five bouts and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Yosdenis Cedeno at UFC 189.

UFC Fight Night 80 takes place at the inside The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. This event will kick off a three-day stretch of events that will end at UFC 194.
