UFC 141 Medical Suspensions: Four fighters out up to six months

UFC 141 took place on Friday, December 30. Of the 20 fighters that participated in the ten fights that took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, twelve of them were handed medical suspensions.
Of those suspended Brock Lesnar, Nate Diaz, Vladimir Matyushenko and Manny Gamburyan could face the longest time away from the Octagon.
Brock Lesnar has been suspended until June 28 due to an abdominal injury can be cleared early by a doctor.

Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves set to headline UFC’s return to Australia

The UFC will make its return to Australia on March 3, 2012. The fight card will feature a main event between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves. In addition, the first round of the UFC’s flyweight tournament will take place on this card.

The main event at UFC 133 was four years in the making. The last time we saw Tito Ortiz and Rashad Evans face each other in the Octagon was back in UFC 73 which we all know ended in a draw due to Tito losing a point for grabbing the cage fence. Much has changed since 2007 and now in 2011, two completely different competitors step into the cage.
